In Florensia, the game is split up into servers and channels. These servers and channels are all independant and have different instances of maps and monsters. For instance, Lanoir may be spawned in LuxPlena English channel, but on Pardioc Latin channel he may have been killed.

Each character is server bound, but isn't channel bound. This means that you can create a character on the LuxPlena server, and play it on any of the channels within that server, but you cannot play it on any of the other servers and their channels.

The same applies for any shops, guilds, parties etc. You cannot also see if a player in your party/guild list/friends list is online on a different channel, only if they are on the same server and channel as you.
